Ceridwen Gale Brown is a multidisciplinary designer and maker working in the areas of Costume, Model making, Art Direction, Visual FX and most recently graphic design & illustration.
After graduating from the London University of the Arts in 2008 Ceridwen went on to set up her own successful businesses Die Mortal with fellow designer and event specialist Sofie Dodgson, catering to the creative needs of clients from theatre and film/promo directors to marketing companies, advertisers, event conceptualisers and the growing UK arts and music festival scene. With a diverse pool of skills and a confident approach to creative problem solving, the company grew a reputation for delivering the goods - no matter how big the idea - and often to extremely short deadlines.
Die Mortal launched sister company Custom Kigurumi in 2010 after predicting the UK trend for Japanese style "kigu" character costumes about a year before it boomed. Making bespoke pieces based around the kigurumi pattern, the company has since gained 5000 fans on facebook and has shipped hundreds of costumes worldwide to both private and corporate customers.
In August 2014 Ceridwen left London on a mission to see the world and is currently based in Shanghai, China. She continues to offer creative consultancy and take design commissions from both local and international clients between travelling, blogging, photographing and drawing...
